Fun Fact: Elizabeth has a vast cache of music; including vinyl, cassettes, CDs and even a couple of 8 tracks! She collects all sorts of music memorabilia and also has around 75 music tee shirts in her wardrobe! Elizabeth is an avid animal lover! Her favorite animal is the otter and has a goal of swimming with them at an otter rescue sanctuary one day!

Bio: Elizabeth grew up in a large family, many of whom possess much musical talent. Starting under the age of 10, she was introduced to various music genres including classical, big band, musicals and broadway, motown, folk, 60s psychedelica, 70s soft rock, heavy metal and more. This instilled a great love of music in all forms! During her elementary through high school years, she sang in choir and played piano, flute and percussion, in both marching band and concert band. In college, Elizabeth studied psychology yet never lost her love for or exploration of music. Elizabeth would go on to incorporate psychology and music together in youth summer camps, adult mental health support groups, as well as with older adult Alzheimer and Dementia patients in a therapeutic manner. One day, Elizabeth would like to obtain a second degree in music therapy, to help promote the well being and mental health of others, while at the same time supporting music and the arts. In addition, one of Elizabeth's favorite past experiences was working with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra in Columbus, OH providing public relations, sales and building patron rapport. More recently, Elizabeth had the opportunity to lend her assistance in merchandise sales and band promotion capacity to the internationally acclaimed Jamaican ska band, The Skatalites, during their Dec. 2021 west coast tour and another single show in June 2022. Anyone who meets Elizabeth will soon realize what an impact music has made (and still makes) in her life and her love for multiple music genres! Elizabeth is overjoyed to be part of the SPAMA administrative team and to help support the staff and students, on their musical journeys!
