I love this music school. I'm an adult learner who just up and said one day that I wanted to learn the violin. I tried another music school in the area and was put off by them and then forgot about it for a few years. Then I saw the sign in front of this charming 2-story house and decided to call them up and check it out. I have been attending violin lessons with Sara since March and I am actually able to play simple songs and am starting to read music! I also signed up for vocal lessons with Lacy Jo as a result of a fundraiser day they had yesterday. The instructors are really high quality professionals, with excellent qualifications and related degrees. Sara is super patient with me and tailors the lessons to my needs. But they have lots of instructors there who teach a variety of instruments from piano, ukulele, banjo, guitar, violin, drums, voice, etc. This school really cares about all of their students and about music. They also have recitals for their students to show off what they learned. I highly recommend Green Brooms Music Academy. It makes me happy to go there. The staff are nice and friendly too!

Great place for kids and adults to learn. Patient friendly teachers. Nice private rooms and great atmosphere. In a quaint craftsman setting. Free coffee/tea and wireless bonus for waiting parents! This is an extension of their main location. Teachers are great here! Great follow up svc as well when you call and leave a message. Great place for kids to learn to rock!

This music school is wonderful! My son wanted to try the violin just for fun, and he got really lucky to find this place and especially to have Jeremy as an instructor. We started before the pandemic and were able to experience both the in-person lessons as well as the virtual ones. Although everyone is eager to get back to in-person class when it is safe, Jeremy and the music school have definitely made the best of the situation. My son enjoyed lessons both ways and has made a lot of progress in his new musical hobby. We highly recommend this music school and Jeremy as a teacher!

I took voice lessons at South Pasadena Arts & Music Academy and had a fantastic experience. I am a singer-songwriter and have been releasing music for some years but was beginning to experience troubles and pain with my voice. Because of this, I was unable to record vocals properly or perform for extended periods of time. It was devastating to me.

My instructor was able to assess my problem with curiosity and kindness and completely transformed the way that I approach singing. Her holistic approach, quite frankly, changed everything for me. Her lessons reignited my spark for songwriting/singing and I'm currently working on an EP.
