Bio:

Rae is a vocalist, pianist, music teacher, and administrator originally from Arkansas. Starting first with the piano when she was just seven years old, Rae has always been passionate about music. In her youth, she also enjoyed playing the guitar and violin and was a member of her high school's honor orchestra and honor choir. She believes that music is a catalyst for self-actualization/discovery, and that every person's life can be enriched through the study of music no matter their age or prior experience.

Since graduating from Chapman University with her degree in music performance, Rae has appeared in numerous productions throughout California, performing with Lyric Opera of Orange County and Pacific Symphony among others. Notable roles include Hansel (Hansel & Gretel), Dinah (Trouble in Tahiti), Armelinde (Cendrillon), and Mercédès (Carmen). Last year, Rae was selected as a semi-finalist in the Palm Springs Opera Guild competition and was previously featured as a principal soloist in Opera Theatre Unlimited 48-Hour Opera Festival. She looks forward to upcoming performances with Independent Opera Company, Landmark Opera, Long Beach Camerata Singers, and Los Angeles Chorus.

Outside of performing, Rae has taught and served as admin for a few local music schools including SPAMA and is currently Digital Content Manager for Pacific Opera Project. When she's not teaching or performing, she loves to dance, cook, study foreign languages, and go roller skating with her friends.
