Bio: Rebecca is a Los Angeles based violinist who maintains a thriving performance career, both on the concert stage and as a recording musician for film, television, and video games. She frequently performs with the Fresno Philharmonic, the Golden State Pops Orchestra, The Monterey Symphony, and The Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles, among others. She can be heard as a featured violinist in a number of feature films, such as Drones, Such Good People, and The Standbys, as well as in numerous television programs and commercials; her video game credits include the acclaimed Call of Duty: Black Ops.
Pop studio work includes intimate acoustic duets with Moby, indie rock albums from Honey Honey and Common Rotation, as well as Deadmau5’s latest album Where’s the Drop? On the improv comedy stage, Rebecca has accompanied acclaimed shows such as Mannerhouse Manor, The Resistance, and ComedySportz. She was also the violinist for The Thrilling Adventure Hour, the long-running celebrated live monthly comedy show and podcast in Los Angeles, named one of the ten best podcasts by Time Magazine.
With over twenty years of experience as a teacher, Rebecca’s pedagogical range extends from having an absolute beginner comfortably playing the instrument by the end of the first lesson, to helping advanced performers prepare concert and other sophisticated works.
