Fun Fact: Nura grew up in one of the smallest countries in the world, Luxembourg and speaks four languages. She loves game nights and bonfires. She also participated and won the Topanga Banjo & Fiddle Competition (2008) as well as competing in the Wicked Wannabe Competition (2009) and placed as a finalist.

Bio: Growing up in Luxembourg, raised by a Persian mother and an American father, Nura was exposed to a wide range of musical genres, expanding her palette to fall in love with music from around the world.

Nura has been teaching private lessons for 23 years to students of all ages and backgrounds. Coming from a classical and jazz background, she teaches all genres of music, providing a solid foundation to support any style her students would like to learn.

She prides herself in taking the time to get to know her students and designs a curriculum to fit their ability, goals and passions. Creating a platform for her students to shine gives Nura great joy!

In conjunction to teaching, Nura finds it important to keep herself inspired, enriching her musicianship by taking classes, collaborating with other musicians and performing locally in the Los Angeles area and internationally in the UK and Luxembourg.
